Welcome to Clarity First Finance (Amber Pietrangelo LLC). By accessing this website or engaging in our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
Clarity First Finance (Amber Pietrangelo LLC) provides financial coaching, bookkeeping, and fractional CFO consulting services.
Consulting & Coaching: These services are designed to provide education, systems, and strategic oversight.
Done-For-You Bookkeeping: We provide data entry and reconciliation based on the information provided by the Client.
2. Not a Substitute for Professional Tax or Legal Advice
Amber Pietrangelo and Clarity First Finance (Amber Pietrangelo LLC) are not Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Tax Attorneys, or Licensed Investment Advisors. Our services do not include the provision of legal, tax, or investment advice. While we aim to provide "tax-ready" books, the Client is ultimately responsible for the accuracy of their tax filings and should consult with a licensed tax professional for final filing and legal strategy.
3. Client Responsibility
The accuracy of our work depends entirely on the information you provide. You agree to:
Provide timely access to bank feeds, receipts, and financial documents.
Review all financial statements provided by us for accuracy.
Notify us immediately of any errors or omissions.
4. Payment Terms & Subscriptions
Hourly Consulting: Payment is due at the time of booking.
Retainers & Subscriptions: Monthly retainers are billed in advance on the 1st of each month.
QuickBooks Discount: The 15% QuickBooks Online discount is only applicable to new accounts created through our firm. If you cancel your service agreement with us, the discount may be removed by Intuit or our firm.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Consulting Sessions: We require 48 hours' notice for rescheduling. Failure to schedule your allocated time under your retainer within the same month or not attending a scheduled meeting will result in forfeiture of that time and any fees paid.
Monthly Services: You may cancel your monthly retainer or Done-For-You service with 30 days written notice.
Refunds: Due to the digital and time-based nature of our services, all payments are non-refundable.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarity First Finance (Amber Pietrangelo LLC) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to financial losses, tax penalties, or data errors caused by third-party software (e.g., QuickBooks). Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the service in question.
7. Confidentiality
We take your privacy seriously. All financial data and personal information shared during our partnership will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your express written consent, except as required by law.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan
